Funded Program Requirements

Recipient Fulfillment Report Upon Completion
A completed and signed CPP Recipient Fulfillment Report must be mailed upon completion of the program/project. Failure to complete and return this form will affect future sponsorships. Funded projects are tracked to ensure compliance.

Program Changes
Any changes to a CPP sponsored program or designated project must be approved by the CPP manager prior to making program or activity changes. Proposed changes must still fall under CPP guidelines and provide a benefit to Metropolitan's mission as a regional water supplier. It is important that the recipient initiate contact with the CPP manager prior to making program changes.

Extensions
Any changes, including an extension of the program/project timeline, must be approved by the CPP manager. Metropolitan takes into consideration that other government and private funding must be coordinated to facilitate the completion of inter-agency programs and public-private partnerships. Extensions are granted on a case-by-case review. The maximum extension is 12 months beyond the initial 12 months after sponsorship funding.

Return Funding
On occasion, recipients have been unsuccessful in their efforts to complete the funded event or activity. Metropolitan reserves the right to request Metroplitan sponsorship funds be returned within 30 days after review of the program status. If a program/project is not completed by the agreed upon date, then the unused sponsorship funds must be returned within 30 days.

No substitutions: Awarded funds may ONLY be used for the program described in the application. If the program is cancelled or substantially modified funds MUST be returned to MWD and a new application submitted as necessary. The manager of the Community Partnering Program, Christel Webb, must be contacted in these circumstances.

Programs will not be funded retroactively. If the program completion date precedes the application and board approval deadlines, funding request will be declined.

Christel Webb, Manager, Community Programs at (213) 217-6633.
