Metropolitan Water District purchases approximately $140 million worth of goods and services annually. Procurements over $25,000 generally involve a standard sealed bid process through NETConnect Online Bid System.

This bid system allows all vendors easy online access to Bids, RFP's, RFQ's, Addendums and bid results. All interested vendors must register to access this information. If you need assistance when registering, please contact NETConnect. NETConnect provides all technical and customer support for this system and will be happy to assist you.

Surplus Property Auction

Metropolitan auctions surplus property to interested and qualified parties.  Surplus property may include furniture, shop equipment, office equipment and a wide variety of other items.  MWD employees are not permitted to participate.  Click here to view current auctions.

Metropolitan solicits professional and consulting services through a Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ), via the web. You must register on the web site in order to download, receive amendments, and respond to solicitations. Proposals must be submitted to Metropolitan in hardcopy by posted deadline.

The Metropolitan Water District has over 300 million dollars in construction contracts at any one time. Project sizes range from large to small and may cover anything from the large scale construction of a water treatment plant to the rehabilitation of a facility roof.

Metropolitan advertises construction contracts to be bid in the Dodge Green Sheet and the L.A. Daily Journal. Contracts over $25,000 must be competitively bid.



 
Local Resources Program Application
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) invites applications for development of water recycling and groundwater recovery projects under the Local Resources Program (LRP).
