Member: Special Committee on Bay-Delta; Engineering and Operations Committee; Water Planning and Stewardship Committee; Legal and Claims Committee.

Professional and community activities:

Steiner has served on the San Diego County Water Authority’s board since May 2003, where she currently chairs the board’s Bay-Delta Solutions Ad Hoc Committee and is a member of the Administrative and Finance Committee, Water Planning Committee and Colorado River Programs Ad Hoc Committee.

An attorney, she is a partner in the San Diego law firm of Tosdal, Smith, Steiner & Wax, specializing in labor, employment and personal injury.  She is on the Board of Directors of San Diego Youth Service, a non-profit charitable organization that builds futures for at risk youth.
