Member: Finance and Insurance Committee; Audit and Ethics Committee; Engineering and Operations Committee; Communications and Legislation Committee.

Water Industry Affiliations:

Barbre has served on the board of directors of the Municipal Water District of Orange County since November 2000, representing the cities of Brea, Buena Park, La Habra, La Palma, Placentia and Yorba Linda.  He previously served as an elected member of the Yorba Linda Water District’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2000.

Professional and Community Activities:

Barbre held various positions during more than seven years with the office of the Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector, including chief assistant treasurer-tax collector, deputy treasurer-tax collector and public information officer.  He also spent seven years on the staff of U.S. Rep. William E. Dannemeyer, who at the time was ranking member of the Subcommittee on Health & the Environment.
