Solar Cup (2:02 minutes)
Solar Cup 2009 was held in May at Lake Skinner in Riverside County. High school teams design boats that run on solar power and compete in two races: a sprint competition and an endurance event. The different competitions test teams’ abilities to design their solar boats for maximum energy efficiency as
well as speed. |
